Get to Know the Team

The West Java Area Operations team is responsible for strengthening Grab's operations across the region, including Bandung, Sukabumi, Cianjur, Garut, Tasikmalaya, and Cirebon. We work closely with local communities, government stakeholders, driver-partners, merchant-partners, and strategic partners to deliver reliable services and sustainable growth. Get to Know the Role

We are seeking an experienced City Associate based in Sukabumi, Indonesia. You will manage and optimize local operations in Sukabumi while collaborating with the broader West Java team to drive service quality, operational excellence, and sustainable business growth.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

- Manage daily operations in Sukabumi, ensuring reliable service delivery and a positive experience for customers and partners.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with local government, communities, vendors, driver-partners, merchant-partners, and other stakeholders.
- Implement, monitor, and improve service-quality standards across customer and partner touchpoints.
- Analyze local market trends, operational performance, and competitor activities to identify challenges and growth opportunities.
- Manage and resolve operational escalations, customer concerns, and partner issues promptly and effectively.
- Coordinate with West Java and cross-functional teams to improve service offerings and operational efficiency.
- Prepare regular reports covering key performance indicators, operational challenges, market insights, and recommended actions.
- Ensure all local operations comply with government regulations, company policies, and Grab's operational standards.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

- A bachelor's degree in any field.
- At least one year of experience managing local operations and improving customer or partner satisfaction.
- Strong knowledge of Sukabumi and the broader West Java market, including its local culture, communities, tourism landscape, and business practices.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and working proficiency in English; proficiency in Sundanese is an advantage.
