About the School
St Catherine’s is a friendly, warm and welcoming two form entry Catholic primary school
with nurseries for 2 to 4 year olds on site. The school takes pride in offering an inclusive, caring and stimulating learning environment for its pupils.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Inclusion Leader to join the staff team at St Catherine’s Catholic Primary
School. Our Inclusion leader will work regularly alongside support staff, teachers and senior leaders contributing
significantly to our educational provision and to our school community.

About the candidate
We are looking to appoint a creative, experienced and enthusiastic Inclusion Leader who:
• has the vision, interpersonal skills and expertise to lead inclusive provision across the whole primary range
• has or is willing and capable of completing the SENCO qualification
• is an outstanding teacher, with high expectations and standards and can use these to raise standards
• has an understanding of a wide range of strategies to support children’s mental health and wellbeing
• has a good knowledge of teaching English as an additional language
• is passionate about school attendance
• has an innovative and exciting approach to learning
• has the ability to reflect on and develop their own practice and that of others
• is willing to play a key role in the development, delivery and enrichment of our curriculum
• is a well organised and proactive team player who will make a positive contribution to our school team
• will support the Catholic ethos of our school but does not have to be Catholic
