About this role

Join us on our journey to empower over a million people to change their behaviours and thrive!

At Thrive Tribe we deliver award-winning healthy lifestyle and wellbeing programmes that make people happier and healthier! It’s a super exciting time to join us as we begin to deliver Stop Smoking Services throughout County Durham, and we’re looking for a Marketing Co-Ordinator to join our team at Smokefree County Durham !

Our Stop Smoking Programmes are designed to support local people who live, study or work in County Durham and want, or need, to quit smoking. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Marketing Co-Ordinator to develop and implement innovative marketing strategies for our Stop Smoking Service.

The role is crucial in raising awareness of our service, driving engagement, and ultimately, supporting more individuals to quit smoking. The Marketing Co-Ordinator will be responsible for creating and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns, managing digital presence and analysing campaign effectiveness to optimise performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, a passion for public health and a proven track record in delivering successful marketing initiatives.

Like all roles at Thrive Tribe, you can expect your time at work to be fun, varied and challenging. We don’t like to stick to a firm JD as we know from experience that things change throughout the lifetime of a role and it gives our people the chance to play to their strengths.

A typical day as a Marketing Co-Ordinator might include:

- In collaboration with the Head of Service and Engagement and Partnership Lead, develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the service’s objectives and target audience; to help ensure the service hits their respective annual targets.
- Develop and maintain a marketing calendar to co-ordinate campaigns and activities.
- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Manage and optimise the service’s website and social media channels (e.g. Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn) to increase engagement and reach.
- Develop and create engaging content, including social media posts, lead generation adverts, website copy, newsletters, blog articles, videos and infographics.
- Monitor and analyse website and social media analytics to track performance and identify areas of improvement.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials and channels.
- Manage the production of marketing assets, including leaflets, posters and digital resources.
- Conducting market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities and challenges.
- Working closely with the delivery team to ensure alignment between marketing and service delivery.
- Ensuring due consideration is given to Information Governance and Clinical Governance legislation, requirements and guidance.
- Developing positive working relationships with commissioners and key stakeholders, ensuring feedback, priorities and service requirements are effectively translated into marketing activity and deliverables, whilst maintaining clear communication around priorities, timelines and deliverables.

- Implementing and managing email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and promote our service offerings.
- Working with colleagues across all of our Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new projects and service developments – we’re always looking to share knowledge and resources!

- Helping us maintain the ethos of Thrive Tribe by driving our organisational culture forward across our services and using every opportunity to embed our values!
