Job Summary

As a Senior Quality Engineer at NCR VOYIX Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software and hardware solutions. You will lead quality assurance activities throughout the product development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance, contributing to the overall excellence of our innovative products.

Job Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for complex software and hardware systems.
• Lead and mentor junior quality engineers, providing guidance on best practices, tools, and methodologies.
• Collaborate closely with development, product management, and other cross-functional teams to define quality criteria and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Identify, analyze, and report defects, working with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and code reviews to proactively identify potential quality risks.
• Monitor and analyze product performance in production environments, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA process, introducing new tools, techniques, and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company quality policies.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to testing processes, test results, and quality metrics.

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Proficiency in designing and executing various types of testing, including functional, performance, regression, and integration testing.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, JUnit, Pytest, TestNG).
• Experience in Retail Domain
• Familiarity with defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps) and test management tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
