Job Description: Operations Administrator

Purpose

To provide administrative support to the Supply Chain team, ensuring system information, supplier data and planning information are accurate and up to date.

The role will take ownership of routine administrative and transactional activities, allowing Planning, Inventory and Supplier Development resources to focus on inventory management, supplier performance, cost reduction, capacity planning and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities / Key Deliverables

- Support the processing of supplier order confirmations and update delivery dates within the MRP system.
- Maintain supplier, item and planning data, including price lists, SKU details and planning parameters within the MRP system.
- Carry out regular data cleansing and system accuracy checks.
- Support the planning team by updating production and delivery information within the MRP system.
- Raise purchase orders for consumables, pallets and other operational requirements.
- Prepare KPI reports, trackers and performance data.
- Create, review and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support invoice queries by checking purchase order, pricing and supplier information.
- Manage departmental administration and shared inbox queries.
- Support continuous improvement projects and process documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support department performance.
- Provide general administrative support to the Supply Chain team as required.

Dimensions of Role

Based at the NaughtOne Birstall site, this is a 6-month fixed-term contract working 22.5 hours per week.

The role reports to Procurement Manager and forms part of the Operations team.

The primary purpose of the role is to release capacity within the Supply Chain team by taking ownership of transactional and administrative activities currently being completed by Planning and Supplier Development resources. This will allow the team to spend more time focusing on inventory management, supplier performance, cost reduction, capacity planning and continuous improvement.
