We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a VP, Wealth Pdt Mgt (UT).
In this role you will:
- Define and execute the UT product strategy and roadmap, identifying product gaps and opportunities through customer insights, market research and business requirements.
- Conduct appropriate fund due diligence, ensuring offerings meet customer needs, commercial objectives and relevant risk and regulatory standards.
- Partner with fund manufacturers, Sales and Distribution, Commercialisation, Marketing, Digital and other stakeholders to plan and deliver product launches, campaigns and growth initiatives.
- Develop sales tools, marketing collateral and other enablement materials, and support events and engagement activities in partnership with Marketing and Proposition teams.
- Work with Risk, Compliance and other control functions to review and implement appropriate controls, meet regulatory requirements and manage product-related risks.
- Partner with Operations to simplify and improve processes, reduce turnaround times and deliver cost efficiencies without compromising controls or customer experience.
- Collaborate with Data and Analytics teams to monitor flows, sales performance and customer behavior, identify trends and generate new growth opportunities.
- Maintain a strong understanding of competitor propositions, market developments, fund performance and industry trends.
To be successful you will need:
- 7–10 years’ experience in retail banking product management, wealth management or a related financial-services environment.
- Strong knowledge of unit trusts, funds and managed products, including product structures, distribution models and customer propositions.
- Strong stakeholder-management, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence across business, control and support functions.
- Strong regulatory, conduct and risk awareness, with a track record of embedding effective controls into product activities.
