What will you do?

We’re looking for someone who is curious about AI, data and how things work behind the scenes. You don’t need to be an expert - what matters to us is that you enjoy figuring things out, have an analytical mindset and are not afraid to try new tools.

As a Data & AI Operations Intern, you’ll work closely with our Operations team and get involved in real projects that help Hiflylabs work more efficiently. You’ll have the opportunity to use AI to solve problems, improve everyday processes and automate tasks that can be done faster or smarter.

And while we take our work seriously, we’re also looking for someone who is easy-going, curious and fun to work with.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

You’ll be involved in a variety of tasks, so your days won’t look exactly the same. For example:

- Making things easier: If there’s a repetitive process that could be done faster or more efficiently, you’ll help figure out how to improve it - and you can use AI to help you along the way
- Working with data: You’ll help organize, check and work with data used by the Operations team and learn how data supports everyday business decisions
- Connecting tools: You’ll help make our everyday tools work better together and look for ways to reduce manual work
- Working with AI: You’ll have the opportunity to experiment with AI tools, chatbots and workflows and see how they can be used in real business situations
- Solving everyday problems: You’ll help with smaller operational tasks, troubleshoot issues and look for small improvements that can make a difference
- Improving how we work: You’ll be encouraged to spot things that could work better and come up with your own ideas for improving our processes

Qualifications

Requirements:

- You can work at least 25 hours per week
- You’re interested in AI, data and technology and are curious about how they can be used to solve real problems
- You have an analytical mindset and enjoy figuring out how things work
- You’re comfortable working with Google Sheets and have some experience with data
- You’re happy to use AI tools such as Gemini or Claude to help you learn, solve problems or create simple solutions
- You’re organized, reliable and pay attention to details
- You’re comfortable communicating in English, both written and spoken
- You’re proactive - if you see something that could be done better, you’re willing to speak up and explore a solution
- And most importantly: you’re a nice, easy-going person who enjoys working with others

Nice to have:

- You’ve taken part in project work at university and have some idea of how a project is planned and carried out
- You’ve worked on a university project where you had to organize tasks, work with others and deliver something together
- You’re curious about learning more about SQL, Python or Google Apps Script - you don’t need to know these already
- You’ve had some previous work experience, internship experience or involvement in a student organization
