As a solutions engineer for GRS Distribution Broker Partner Engagement, you will be responsible for designing digital solutions that support the development of system, technical and product standards based on business plans and long-term strategies.
You will create solutions that add business value to our expansion of our Global Surety client and agent’s portal and Surety and North America CRM capabilities while providing guidance, best practices, and mentorship to the aligned agile delivery teams.

Qualifications
- Ten years of related software engineering experience
- A comprehensive understanding of agile delivery
- Extensive knowledge of contemporary frameworks and emerging technologies
- Solid negotiation, facilitation, consensus building and influencing capabilities
- Ability to identify patterns and problems across teams to deliver effective solutions
- Openness and adaptability to respond to fast-moving circumstances
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and an aptitude for working in teams
- Experience developing or architecting cloud-hosted, responsive web applications
- Cognizance of security concerns, from access control and authentication to secured SDLC processes
- Solid negotiation, facilitation, consensus building and influencing capabilities
- Strong background in code review
- Familiarity with event-based System of Engagement architectures and integration with API exposing microservices
- Deep understanding of layered solutions and designs
- Understanding MDM systems, data ingestion and cloud-scale data sets
- Ability to identify patterns and problems across teams and deliver effective solutions
- A design thinking and test-driven development mindset
- Deep understanding of test engineering, automation frameworks and quality engineering practices
- Ability to use AI as an accelerator and model being an AI adopter
- AI Fluency: Actively uses AI tools to improve the speed, quality, and scale of work; can point to concrete workflows where AI adds value; critically evaluates and validates AI-generated output; and applies AI responsibly, protecting confidential and customer data.
Education
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience
