Consolidation Manager, IFRS & Group Reporting

We are looking for a Consolidation Manager with solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) requirements and their practical application in a complex international environment to join our Consolidation and Financial Reporting team , based in our headquarters office in Brussels, Belgium .

About the role

You will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely and compliant Group financial reporting, with a particular focus on IFRS interpretation and application. You will advise stakeholders on complex accounting matters, translate technical conclusions into clear reporting guidance and support external financial publications. Alongside this IFRS focus, you will contribute to consolidation and closing activities and help strengthen, simplify and automate reporting processes across an international organization.

Who you'll work with

You will be part of the team responsible for Group consolidation and financial reporting. You will collaborate with local finance teams, shared services, outsourced partners, financial planning, tax, treasury, audit, internal controls and investor relations colleagues. Together, you will promote consistent application of IFRS, clear reporting requirements, reliable Group figures and well-controlled closing processes.

What you'll do

- Provide practical IFRS guidance on complex accounting matters, assess their reporting implications and document conclusions clearly.
- Monitor relevant IFRS developments and support their consistent interpretation and application across the Group.
- Contribute to half-year financial publications and the financial section of the Integrated Annual Report, helping ensure IFRS-compliant, accurate and audit-ready disclosures.
- Review significant financial movements, reporting adjustments and local submissions, including profit and loss, balance sheet, equity and cash flow information.
- Support Group consolidation and closing activities, working constructively with stakeholders to resolve issues and meet reporting timelines.
- Collaborate with auditors and finance partners, while improving reporting procedures, controls, systems and automation through cross-functional finance initiatives.

- For this role we're looking for the following education, experience and skills:
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
- Professional experience applying International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), including the ability to interpret complex accounting topics and translate them into clear, practical guidance for a broad range of stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in technical accounting and Group financial reporting within a complex international environment; hands-on experience with consolidation and closing activities is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills, with close attention to detail and sound professional judgement.
- A reliable and flexible approach, with the willingness to adapt priorities and contribute during key reporting periods to meet agreed deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Collaborative and proactive working style, with clear English communication and confidence partnering across functions, geographies and cultures; interest in reporting systems, process improvement and automation.
