CLO Analyst - U.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust Services

About the Team

U.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust Services is one of the largest providers of corporate trust services in the world. We provide trustee, agency, escrow, document custody, and money market issuing services through 48 domestic offices and three international offices.

We are currently expanding our market-leading CLO business and hiring into the CLO Analytics Team .

The CLO Analytics Team is one of the most client-facing teams within the business. The role offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment, combining analytical and calculation-based responsibilities with regular interaction with clients, investors, rating agencies, and internal business partners. The team plays a critical role in delivering exceptional client service and supporting complex CLO transactions.

Key Responsibilities

- Build strong partnerships with Relationship Management and Deal Administration teams to support client deliverables and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage ongoing transaction deliverables, including: CLO waterfalls Investor reporting Hypothetical test trades
- Calculate portfolio statistics, ratios, and thresholds for hypothetical trading scenarios and periodic reporting.
- Review and interpret trust indentures to determine reporting requirements and develop technical reporting specifications.
- Configure and maintain payment calculations within proprietary U.S. Bank systems.
- Receive, map, validate, and reconcile periodic collateral data.
- Collaborate with business partners across: Technology Legal Compliance Trustee Services Relationship Management Deal Administration Sales
- Develop innovative solutions to meet client needs.
- Utilise SQL and other analytical tools to manage and interpret large volumes of collateral-related data.

Candidate Profile

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
- Equivalent relevant work experience will also be considered.

Experience

- 2-3 years of relevant financial services experience.
- Exposure to, or understanding of, one or more of the following areas is preferred: Collateralised Loan Obligations (CLOs) Syndicated Bank Loans Fixed Income Securities Securitisation Debt Capital Markets.

Technical Skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working with financial models.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (preferred).
- Ability to identify, investigate, and resolve data exceptions.
- Strong attention to detail and data interpretation skills.
- Experience using SQL or similar data analysis tools is advantageous.
