Multi-Trade Operative (Plumbing)

Based at Hindle House, Banbury | Covering Banbury and surrounding areas

£37,358 - 39,324 per year

40 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8:00am to 4:30pm

We're looking for an experienced Multi-Trade Operative with a strong plumbing background to join our Operations Response team in Banbury.

Working across Cherwell and the surrounding are, you'll help maintain and improve residents' homes through high-quality repairs and maintenance. From fixing leaking taps and replacing baths to fitting doors, fencing repairs and general property maintenance, no two days are the same.

The role of Multi-Trade Operative will include:

- Carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance in occupied homes.

- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs across a range of trades.

- Undertaking plumbing and general multi-trade work.

- Managing van stock and materials.

- Working independently and as part of a team.

- Participating in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.

- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and customer service.

Skills and experiences:

- To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry, electrical. If Plumbing Level 3 is required, Unvented - G3 Certificate and Water Regulations (WRAS). As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted

- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks

- Additional skills in some of the following disciplines - plumbing, carpentry and plastering

- Working knowledge of the health and safety regulations

- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
