The Career Success Coordinator provides comprehensive operational, programmatic, and administrative supports to the Office of Academic & Career Success (OACS). This role leads the planning and execution of OACS programs and events, serves as a key resource to students and employers, and advances student engagement through strategic outreach initiatives and social media management. Further support is provided through the creation of programs and resources and administration and optimization of departmental databases. Additionally, the position supports key institutional initiatives led by the Associate Provost, including accessibility and accommodation services, student conduct administration, the behavioral intervention team, and special projects.
Job Description
Essential Functions
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
- Lead the planning and execution of in-person and virtual events for OACS, to include career fair events on Center City and Dixon campuses, by overseeing all logistical operations such as scheduling, venue coordination, catering, event communications, audiovisual support, and financial processing.
- Conduct departmental operations, including financial management and purchasing, timekeeping processes, supervising student employees, and oversight of facilities and physical spaces.
- Develop student resources and workshops for academic and career success; complete resume reviews.
- Manage administrative operations related to the student conduct process and behavioral intervention team, including coordinating schedules, communications, documentation, and case logistics among multiple participants.
- Coordinate the administration of student accommodations, including exam logistics, secure handling of confidential materials, and oversight of assistive technology resources to ensure equitable access.
- Develop and implement employer engagement and outreach strategies to strengthen recruiting partnerships; analyze engagement data.
- Manage departmental technology platforms and databases, ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy, and providing technical support to students, employers, and alumni.
- Prepare monthly and annual reports on student engagement, program participation, events, workshop effectiveness, and budgets.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education:
- Associates Degree required. Bachelor Degree preferred.
AND
Experie nce:
- Previous administrative experience in student affairs or university administration preferred.
