.This position has a base compensation range of USD 150,000.00 to USD 175,000.00. In addition to this base compensation, you'll benefit from our competitive health and welfare programs, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, opportunities for tuition assistance, and incentive compensation for eligible positions. The Healthcare Airfreight Director - US is responsible for executing Hellmann’s Healthcare Airfreight product strategy across the United States and driving the development and growth of the US Healthcare Airfreight portfolio. This role focuses on enhancing Healthcare Airfreight solutions, processes, and subject matter expertise, while supporting the Sales and Product teams throughout the US.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- In alignment with the Global Healthcare Airfreight Director, contribute and execute the global healthcare airfreight strategy to ensure profitable growth.
- Establish, maintain and strengthen the relationship with vendors, i.e., airlines, packaging companies, transport companies etc., and monitor performance in cooperation with the regional and/or global healthcare quality team.
- Provide support to internal stakeholders through meeting existing and potential customers. The focus is on supporting the teams in reference to airfreight healthcare solutions and quality aspects, collating appropriate information, assessing feasibility and providing value added solutions.
- Work with the global and/or regional Quality team to ensure that GDP compliant policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to.
- Direct and manage processes, i.e.  Standard Operating Procedures, meeting global standards, Route Risk Assessments, CAPA etc.
- Drive customer RFI/RFQ processes and responses either as a lead and/or in collaboration with the global airfreight healthcare team, global, regional or national sales organizations and/or the tender management team.
- Support and/or own the implementation process of new and/or existing airfreight customers.
- Provide best-in-class consultancy and value-added solutions to customers and internal stakeholders in reference to airfreight related products, services, e.g. packaging solutions, carrier solutions, and market developments.
- Share best practices and, in alignment with the VIS Healthcare and global airfreight product, support training on Good Distribution Practices (GDP), packaging and airfreight solutions, if and when required to ensure that the network is up to date in critical information relating to Hellmann’s Healthcare offer, airfreight product solutions and the general Healthcare airfreight industry.
- Communicate effectively with the network to enhance co-operation.
- Own and deliver specific projects as assigned by the line manager.
- Provide progress, status and KPI reports in agreed intervals to the line manager.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position may supervise full-time employees and temporary employees from time to time based on projects.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Logistics and Supply Chain, Transportation, or associate field), or equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of educational requirement.
- 7-10 years minimum airfreight experience, ideally proven experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical supply chain and/or healthcare and pharmaceutical customers.
- 5 years minimum supervisory experience.
- Completion of any industry related course is an asset.
