Specsavers Forfar is looking for an Optometrist to join our successful and established team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a fresh challenge, additional clinical experience, or a shorter-term commitment with the potential to secure a permanent part-time role at the end of the contract. While we'd ideally like someone to join us full-time, we understand that flexibility matters. We're happy to explore a variety of working patterns and welcome applications from Optometrists looking for either full-time or part-time opportunities.

Since opening in 2010, our store has built an outstanding reputation within the local community and beyond. Patients travel from surrounding areas to visit us, with many families trusting us with their eye care generation after generation. Following our relocation in 2020 and a refurbishment in 2024, you'll be working in a bright, modern environment equipped with the latest clinical technology across 4 fully equipped test rooms.

You'll be joining a genuinely supportive and experienced team where collaboration comes naturally. Alongside fellow Optometrists, you'll work with qualified Dispensing Opticians, a Trainee Contact Lens Optician and experienced Optical Assistants, giving you the support you need to focus on delivering exceptional patient care. Our store partners are passionate about development and actively encourage career progression. We already have 2 IP-qualified Optometrists in store, with a further 3 currently undertaking the qualification. If you're looking to develop your clinical expertise, you'll be fully supported to achieve your goals here.

- Up to £70,000 depending on experience and responsibilities (fixed-term contract salary)
