Overview

We are looking for an experienced Production Expeditor to join Mycronic's Global Technologies division working within our Die Bonding business line. It is an exciting time to join our team!

Our clients are in major industrial sectors including data centers, aerospace & defense, medical, microwave & RF, and 5G wireless.

The Production Expeditor coordinates and tracks the flow of materials, parts, and paperwork through manufacturing departments to ensure production schedules and delivery deadlines are met. You will contribute significantly to the overall success of the manufacturing process by ensuring that resources are utilized optimally and production targets are met consistently, upholding the standards of quality and efficiency that are crucial in competitive markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Request and route components from the warehouse to specific production cells, assembly stations, or technicians based on production needs

- Manage work order releases, completions, and material transactions to ensure materials are available when needed

- Use ERP/MRP systems to monitor shop floor orders, update job statuses, and track inventory movement

- Update production dates and order information in Visual ERP and Excel status sheets to maintain accurate records

- Walk the production floor regularly to identify delayed assemblies, missing parts, or equipment issues

- Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and other departments to resolve issues and keep production moving

- Communicate with production, planning, inventory, engineering, and shipping/receiving teams to coordinate production activities

- Share updates and address material or scheduling issues to help keep production timelines on track

Experience and Qualifications

- High school diploma is required, while an associate's degree is preferred

- At least two years of experience in distribution, inventory management, or a related field

- Strong math and analytical skills with the ability to accurately analyze inventory and production information

- Proficiency with spreadsheet software, inventory management systems, and accounting applications

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
