Now Hiring: Patient Services Representative - Float

Locations: South Nashville, Franklin & Hendersonville (with rare occasional coverage in Murfreesboro and Lebanon)

As a Patient Services Representative - Float , you will be the welcoming face that sets the tone for a patient's entire experience at ADVENT, ensuring our patients feel supported and cared for from their very first visit through every step of their journey.

How you will make an impact as a Patient Services Representative - Float:

- Greet patients and accurately check patients into EHR using established patient registration check-in protocols
- Order Sleep Study devices utilizing the system
- Upload sleep study reports into the system
- Review future clinic schedules to ensure insurance and necessary patient documentation is within the patient chart
- Schedule patient appointments
- Answer call center calls to provide overflow coverage as necessary
- Own the opening and closing of the clinic per established guidelines
- Responsible for ensuring documentation is appropriately completed, patient payment is received per insurance, and works with clinic team members to maintain the daily schedule
- Crosstrain to assist with other non-clinical duties as needed
- Order medical supplies and pharmaceuticals as needed, per established protocol

What we’re looking for in a Patient Services Representative - Float:

- Minimum of 2 year of healthcare experience required
- Prior insurance experience required
- Strong customer service focus
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Solid technology skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, Electronic Health Records
- Great attention-to-detail and accuracy in work
- Proven ability to independently apply best practices in time management
- Prior experience and/or desire to work in a role held accountable to quality performance metrics
- Solution oriented problem solver
- Strong work ethic, commitment to teamwork, positive attitude/willingness to get the job done
- Ability to work within all ADVENT Tennessee market clinics as needed
- Strong work ethic
- Valid driver license required

Schedule: This is a 32-40 hour full-time flex position.

Monday - Friday: 8am -5pm (hours may vary)

Salary Description
$19.08 - $23.00
