Job Purpose

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented General Ledger Supervisor to lead a team of accounting professionals and support the delivery of accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, coach, and develop a team accounting specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany accounts to ensure compliance with internal controls and US GAAP.
- Perform financial statement reviews, balance sheet and P&L fluctuation analysis, and support management reporting.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Purchasing, and Operations.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive service excellence.
- Support SOX compliance requirements, internal controls, and audit activities.
- Manage fixed asset accounting processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives.
- Contribute to finance transformation projects and other strategic initiatives.

Knowledge Skills and Experience

- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a multinational or Shared Services Center (SSC) environment.
- Previous people management or supervisory experience.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for developing people and driving efficiencies.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong knowledge of SAP and BW/HANA.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with financial reporting, month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- SOX compliance and audit experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Adaptable team player with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
