Corporate Culinary Internship 2027 (Warrenville, IL)

Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for a culinary product development intern to join our culinary innovation team. As the intern for our culinary innovation team, you will be responsible for working on a specific project during your time here (to be assign at the start of intern program). In addition to your project, you will support the culinary team with a variety of responsibilities.

Your experience will be project based, with projects varying depending on current business needs. As an intern you can expect to gain valuable experience and insight. At conclusion of Internship, you are expected to prepare a final presentation on the results of your assigned project(s) and will present your findings to members of the corporate management team.

- Gain understanding of food formation.

- Co-develop food formulation/ recipes

- Summarize and data entry of daily activities.

- Assists in the ordering and receiving of supplies.

- Maintain inventory supply level.

- Support customer presentations.

- Research culinary tends and insights relative to customer projects/ needs.

- Work cross functionally with other OSI business units.

- Enrolled in accredited culinary school, food science program or dietarian program.

- Passion for cooking

- Culinary cooking experience.

- Time management.

- Communication skills.

- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.

Compensation/Benefits

The hourly range for this role is $23.00. Offers are typically made between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on skills, experience, and internal equity. In rare cases, highly qualified candidates may receive an offer above the midpoint; however, offers at the maximum of the range are not customary. The salary range posted represents the low and high end of OSIs salary range for this position. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, experience, and performance. Base salary is one component of OSIs overall total rewards package. Other components may include bonuses, special pay programs, comprehensive time off, 401k with match, and a full suite of benefit offerings for you and your family.
