About the Role
The Principal Enterprise Architect is responsible for defining, upholding, and communicating the Business and Information Technology Architecture that supports the Bank's vision and strategic intent. The role also involves providing enterprise architecture services for new initiatives, improving IT infrastructure, and optimizing business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Define and obtain approval for architecture insights vision and strategy ensuring alignment with business, data, and technology architecture.
- Provide oversight to ensure current state Enterprise Architectures are well defined and domain-specific architectures align with enterprise-level strategy.
- Create architecture roadmaps at the product portfolio level, collaborating with executives to translate business strategy into architectural approaches.
- Work across operational asset owners to improve mapping/linkage of operational assets to technology architecture.
- Review project deliverables to ensure compliance with data standards.
- Provide input for departmental budget and forecasting, and manage expenses associated with initiatives.
- Provide critical decision support and recommendations regarding data design deliverables.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and training to project team members to support future growth.
- Capture and share best practices among the team.
- Create an environment that promotes collaborative learning and collective ownership of responsibilities.
What We Are Looking For
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
- Twelve years of proven experience in enterprise architecture, Information Technology Enabled Services
Skills and Attributes
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to translate business strategy into technical solutions.
- Expertise in architecture modeling and enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of compliance architecture, data storage, and metadata management.
