Country Club of Colorado , located in Colorado Springs, CO , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Group Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Compensation:
$15.16 - $16.00 per hour
Summary:
This individual will be responsible for ensuring quality health and fitness services to members and guests, providing an individualized exercise prescription and orientation workouts for member and guests. He/she is also responsible for implementing daily opening and closing procedures and for maintaining cleanliness and working order of the fitness area and equipment.

- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Wyndham Hotel Group Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag.
- Comply with property regulations and standards to encourage safe and efficient operations.
- Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
- Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
- Must be able to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
- Must be able to cross-train in other hotel related areas.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
- Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
- Hygiene is key in this environment due to the close proximity of working with the clients. At no time is cigarette smoke allowed to be on the hands, clothes or breath during a shift.
Fundamental Requirements:
- Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees.
- Implement exercise programs for members and guests.
- Open and/or close the health facility on time, according to health club established hours.
- Maintain functional knowledge of all exercise equipment and perform daily maintenance and cleaning duties of fitness area and equipment.
- Submit maintenance requests to ensure facility/amenities are in proper working order.
- Complete commission reconciled reports from all personal training sales transactions, as necessary.
- Assist with emergency situations as necessary.
- Provide CPR/First Aide as necessary.
- Provide assistance in the production of special events and programs for members and guests.
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least 2 years progressive experience in a related field; and/or continuing education units; and/or field certification required.
Physical requirements:
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
- Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
