The Asset Management & Special Projects team is responsible for managing corporate real estate owned by Scotiabank across Canada, including the day-to-day management of commercial tenants in Bank-owned space.

The Velocity Program is not your average internship or co-op! This is a customized experience that focuses on providing you with the development and tools you need to grow your career. After successfully completing a co-op or internship with top performance, we will work with you to establish your future placements. As a result, you will get to learn, grow, and experiment within different areas of both Scotiabank and Tangerine!

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

- Support day-to-day tenant management activities for third-party tenants in Bank-owned space across Canada

- Produce and update documentation in written form, to a high quality and professional standard

- Coordinate with internal partners (Facilities Management, Accounting, retail branch network) to support tenant and property needs

- Communicate with tenants and tracking issues, requests, and follow-ups

- In addition to special programs, projects, or initiatives to meet Bank Strategic Objectives as assigned by GRECS Leadership.

Do you have the skills and requirements that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if:

- You are currently enrolled in post-secondary education in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or a related program.

- You love to learn and envision yourself working for an international organization that heavily invests in your future.

- You enjoy being involved in extracurricular activities such as conferences, clubs, and competitions and/or hackathons .

- You have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including data set management and financial reports. Proficiency in Microsoft programs (PowerPoint, Word).

- You have the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

- You have Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal partners and external tenants.

- Fluency in Spanish is an asset
