Pyramid Healthcare is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to join our team in Jacksonville, NC. This is a hands-on opportunity to support adults receiving behavioral health and substance use treatment while helping create a safe, structured, and supportive environment.

What You’ll Do

As a BHT, you’ll work directly with clients and the treatment team to support daily programming, client safety, and recovery goals. Responsibilities include:

- Provide direct supervision, support, and engagement to clients

- Assist with client intake, orientation, and daily routines

- Monitor and document client behavior, progress, and incidents

- Support therapeutic activities, groups, and scheduled programming

- Observe and document medication self-administration according to protocol

- Assist with transportation to appointments and program activities

- Respond appropriately to behavioral or emotional crises using approved interventions

- Support clients with activities of daily living and dietary needs

- Maintain a clean, safe, and structured residential environment

- Complete required documentation, training, and compliance activities

- Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative team members

What You’ll Need

Required:

- High school diploma or GED

- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record

- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification, or ability to obtain upon hire

Preferred:

- Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, mental health, healthcare, residential treatment, or social services

- Experience working with vulnerable populations
