About this role
Duties:
- Installing displays at client locations mostly in the Mid-Atlantic
- Install work includes working on ladders and lifts on both interior and exterior dcor
- Using a variety of hand and power tools
- Rigging skills- i.e.- Aircraft cable
- Electrical Skills- Zip Cord/SJ Cord
- Maintain high safety standards and techniques related to the job
- Removing Displays at the end of the holiday season
- Executing basic rigging for safely securing hanging dcor for both interior and exterior locations.
- Opportunity for additional paid driving duties, A valid Drivers License & ability to provide types of trucks previously driven is required for this. Otherwise, a drivers license is not required.
Qualifications
- Must have reliable form of transportation to get too and from locations (Washington, DC. Baltimore, MD. Reston, VA.)
- Can lift minimally 50 pounds unassisted
- Boots are required when working on location
- Must supply own Basic Toolslist provided upon hire
- Operating AWP Genie, Push-Around and Scissor Lifts- Boom Lift
- Must be available for Overnights, Weekends and 12+ hour shifts
- Must be comfortable in all type of lifts and ladders- able to work in excess of 40 feet
- Intuitive ability to think on your feet and problem solve
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Aesthetic sense for installing and working with commercial holiday décor
- Ability to always follow instructions and established procedures
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other team members
- A positive attitude
- Keen awareness and attention to detail
- Preparedness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

- Ability to work and communicate effectively and respectfully with team members regardless of their level of experience or expertise.
- The position does not exclude performing basic tasks required at all work sites including, but not limited to, loading and unloading of materials, cleaning up work areas, other duties as assigned.
