Since 1982, Goldshield has set the bar in the fiberglass industry. Our facility is located in Decatur, Indiana, where we manufacture fiberglass parts for Fleetwood, Honda, and Daimler. Goldshield also manufactures fiberglass for school buses, emergency vehicles and heavy-duty trucks.

A day in the life of a Finisher at Goldshield:

- Sanding and buffing fiberglass parts to restore them to the required shape, design, and quality standard.

- Finishing parts at assigned workstations while meeting customer requirements.

- Applying knowledge of Class A and Class C finish requirements.

- Inspecting finished work and helping reduce returns or rework.

- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Required education, skills, and experience to be successful:

- Preferred 1-year experience in finishing, sanding, buffing, fiberglass, paint prep, or manufacturing.

- Preferred high school diploma or GED.

- Ability to complete required Goldshield training certification.

- Knowledge of Class A and Class C finish expectations preferred.

- Ability to meet customer quality requirements and production standards.

- Successful completion of the drug and background screening.

- Ability to work around constant noise levels above 80 dB.

- Ability to work with constant dust exposure on skin and exposure to resin, acetone, and catalyst.

- Ability to use vibratory equipment.
