About this role

Tesla is seeking a Rewards Analyst to support compensation and benefits programs across EMEA. The role combines hands-on program support with the analysis needed to keep those programs accurate, compliant, and easy for employees and managers to use.

You will partner with Compensation, Benefits, HR Partners, Payroll, Legal, IT, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and senior leaders across multiple countries. You will work with sensitive rewards data, apply country-specific rules, support programs from hire to retire, and turn analysis into a clear recommendation.

You will also collaborate closely with the People Analytics team, who use SQL, Power BI, and other reporting tools, and who build in Python, Power Apps, Power Automate, and custom web apps. You use their insights and the tools they build to reduce manual effort and improve how compensation and benefits are delivered across EMEA. You do not need to build or maintain those tools yourself.

To be successful, you are hands-on, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative. You do not only maintain the status quo. You look for ways to simplify and improve the rewards experience, and you can explain a result to a leader who does not live in the data.

Please note that only 1 role is open, based either in London or Amsterdam.

- Support Tesla's compensation and benefits programs across EMEA, including health insurance, pensions, life and disability, and other rewards programs, from hire to retire. This includes cycle support, business-rule checks, and day-to-day queries from leaders, HR Partners, and staffing teams
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Legal, and IT so regional tax, social security, and statutory treatment of rewards is handled accurately
- Partner with HR Partners and staffing so offers and rewards decisions align with Tesla's competitive practice and philosophy
- Analyse rewards data to diagnose gaps between current and desired state, and recommend practical fixes. Keep employee rewards data accurate and confidential across HRIS platforms and vendor portals where the role touches them
- Translate complex pay, benefits, and workforce findings into a clear narrative for audiences with different levels of seniority
- Collaborate with the People Analytics team, who use SQL, Power BI, and other reporting tools, and who build in Python, Power Apps, Power Automate, and custom web apps, to surface trends and opportunities to simplify work, reduce manual effort, and improve the employee rewards experience. You own the rewards question and the decision. They own the tooling
- Support program design and governance by pressure-testing business rules, running ad hoc analysis, and flagging consistency or compliance issues across EMEA countries
- Own assigned projects end to end in a fast-moving, multi-country environment, and tighten processes so recurring rewards work is accurate and repeatable

- Experience in compensation, benefits, total rewards, or HR operations, preferably across multiple EMEA countries and in a high-growth environment
- Working knowledge of the EMEA labour environment, including statutory and private benefits structures and country-level pay and benefits regulation
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, and a habit of using data to support a recommendation rather than only to describe the status quo. Familiarity with HRIS platforms and case-management systems is an advantage
- Excellent written and spoken English, and the judgement to handle sensitive rewards situations and explain philosophy and practice to leaders, managers, and employees. Fluency in an additional European language is an advantage
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently without losing accuracy
- Hands-on ownership. Comfortable operating in ambiguity, and inclined to simplify and improve a process rather than only run it
