Description
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Charge Nurse

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily nursing operations and coordinate care delivery for residents
- Supervise and support nursing staff, including LPNs and CNAs, ensuring adherence to care plans and policies
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and in accordance with physician orders
- Conduct resident assessments and document health status and progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards
- Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies, providing leadership during critical situations
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid and current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
- Proven experience in a long-term care or nursing home setting
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to nursing home care
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to resident care
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
