Position Summary:

The Business Analyst supports requirements and analysis for delivery teams. This role elicits and documents requirements, develops user stories and acceptance criteria, and partners with Product Owners and engineers to deliver features that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Support backlog refinement and sprint planning.
- Model business processes and data flows.
- Support UAT and validation of delivered features.
- Leverage AI-assisted tools for documentation and analysis.
- Maintain requirements traceability.

Minimum Experience:

- 3+ years of business analysis experience on IT projects.
- Experience with Agile delivery and user stories.

Mandatory Skills:

- Strong requirements documentation and communication skills.

Non-Technical Requirements:

- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be willing to work a hybrid schedule in Reston, VA and client locations in the Washington, D.C. area as required.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize and self-start.
- Adaptability and flexibility as priorities shift.
- Willingness to collaborate, receive feedback, and respond to client needs.
- Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Federal IT or financial-regulatory experience.
- Familiarity with Jira/Confluence and AI-assisted tooling.
- Enthusiasm for learning and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
