Job Summary

Plans and performs inventory control reporting and summarizing results. Works with appropriate department personnel to ensure controls and procedures are in place that promotes inventory accuracy.

Essential Functions

- Plans and performs inventory control reporting and summarizing results.
- Works with appropriate department personnel to ensure controls and procedures are in place that promotes inventory accuracy.
- Assists with audits of critical accounting controls and procedures.
- Manage and control company assets in storage warehouse.
- Prepare shipments and assist shippers, in order to ensure on time shipment of orders.

Additional Responsibilities

- Support of and involvement in company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs and activities.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

- One to two years related experience in inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications including word processing, spreadsheets and database software.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Ability to work with and apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to operate a forklift and/or order picker.

Physical Requirements

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, accommodation, color vision, and field of vision. Good hand/eye coordination is required.
- May be exposed to considerable noise from machinery.
- May be required to pass a pre-employment lift test and physical.
