Purpose
As a Fixed Income Trader, you are responsible for executing fixed-income trading operations, monitoring market developments and evaluating investment opportunities to meet financial targets of the Bank.

What you will be doing
- Monitor and analyse developments and trends in the international fixed-income markets and carry out transactions to achieve profitability for the Bank.
- Actively manage a fixed income trading portfolio taking positions in fixed-income securities across interbank markets within the framework of trading limits and the desk’ s risk appetite.
- Provide best execution service to relevant Business Areas of the Bank and to Group Companies with a similar scope of business.
- Undertake the implementation process of transactions in the capital markets related to the Hellenic PDMA primary issuance and Issuers’ corporate actions.
- Execute and monitor fixed-income security transactions in the interbank market across asset classes and markets as part of market making responsibilities.
- Contribute to professional relationships with financial institutions to identify areas of cooperation and ensure adequate interbank limits to transact.
What you need to have
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
- A Master’s degree in related field (desirable).
- A minimum of three (3) years of working experience in an industry related position, in a financial organization preferable
