Maintenance Field Technician

About the role:

Construction & Maintenance Field Technician

Salt Lake City, UT

Duration: 12 Months

These services may include conducting, witnessing, or providing oversight of pressure tests; performing excavation manually or by use of equipment; entering and providing others with entry into Purchaser's secured facilities; assisting with ILI operations; and assisting with the inspection of, or installing, high pressure (HP) and intermediate high pressure (IHP) pipelines and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide standby excavation monitoring for high pressure facilities and other related construction and maintenance-type services.

This includes high pressure pipeline locates, reading and interpreting Purchaser's maps and prints,

Work with outside contractors and municipalities, performing pipeline valve maintenance

Maintain Purchaser's DOT records by completing reports

Enter and maintain pits and vaults

Conduct pipeline patrols and maintain DOT records

Install and maintain pipeline markers, painting Purchaser's high pressure facilities

Install and inspect the installation of cathodic equipment

Help with pipeline shutdowns and pipeline purging operations, creating and following line shutdown procedures and lock-out/tag-out procedures

Conduct pipeline damage assessments, removing, collecting, transporting and disposing of pipeline coating, installing coating, and inspecting coatings.

Qualifications:

4-7 years experience Pipeline experience

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $50.00 hour to $65.00 hour.
