The Division of Emergency Medicine at Cincinnati Children’s seeks talented, academically-oriented faculty members to join our team.

We have open positions for fellowship trained Pediatric Emergency Medicine faculty in an academic clinician track. Board eligibility or board certification in PEM is expected.  Our Division includes over 45 faculty members with expertise and academic interests across the full range of our specialty including ultrasound, simulation, medical education, Improvement science, epidemiology, clinical trials, outcomes research, and global health.  Clinically, the practice environment includes over 175,000 visits per year across 2 hospitals and 5 urgent care sites; we enjoy a busy level 1 trauma service and are strongly committed to excellence in resuscitation procedures and team-based work.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

- Doctor of Medicine OR Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine OR equivalent
- Unrestricted licensed physician
- Approval/credentialing from CCHMC Medical Staff Services Division
- Completion of all required pre-employment activities
- Assistant Professor appointment or eligibility
- Prior clinical practice experience may be required based on the needs of the department
- Preferred: Board certification
