What You'll Do
As a Direct Support Professional, you'll support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they build independence, participate in their community, and live life on their terms.
Your shift may include:
- Supporting daily activities such as cooking, personal care, laundry, and household tasks
- Helping individuals build independence and confidence
- Going on community outings, activities, appointments, and events
- Providing transportation using approved vehicles
- Assisting with medications according to training and procedures
- Supporting grocery shopping and personal finances
- Completing electronic documentation
- Building positive, meaningful relationships with the people you support

You Don't Need Experience to Make an Impact
Great DSPs come from all kinds of backgrounds. You may be a great fit if you're dependable, compassionate, patient, and enjoy helping others.
No DSP or healthcare experience is required. We'll provide paid training and the tools you need to succeed.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with mobility as needed
- Ability to use basic technology for electronic documentation
- Must complete required background checks and health screenings
- Must complete required training and certifications, provided by One Vision
