### Employment Coordinator

Part-Time Day Hours
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- ### Ensure that all work is carried out in a manner that is both respectful and empowering to families and individuals with disabilities.
- ### Establish and maintain a positive rapport with referring agency personnel in order to build productive, consistently high referral numbers.
- ### Develop a person-centered Employment Plan based upon information received from the referral source, individual observation, and assessment designed to discover the job seeker`s interests, aptitude, and preferred career goals.
- ### Provide employment-related preparatory training in areas, such as resume development, interview skills, job search options, networking skills, and on-the-job relationship protocol.
- ### Provide assistance in actual job search, application submission, interviewing, and assistive technology assessment and procurement.
- ### Once a job seeker is placed provide on or off-site assistance in order to ensure the worker understands and can perform job tasks, has appropriate reasonable accommodations in place and has enough natural support available to eventually work independently.
- ### Document the work done and write and submit billing reports in order to complete the fee-for-service process.
- ### Refer job seekers for any other expert assistance needed in order to maintain supporting benefits, such as SSI, SSDI, Medicare, Medicaid, Supportive Housing, and SNAP.
- ### Only engage in activity that relates to one or more of the goals outlined in the job seeker’s employment plan.
- ### Complete accurate reports, database entries, case notes, and documentation, etc. in a timely manner as required.
- ### Ensure that the program is productive by accepting new referrals or coaching 15 hours per week.
- ### Alert supervisor of any case issues or successes as soon as possible, following each issue or success.
- ### Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- ### Bachelor`s Degree required
- ### 2 or more years of experience in working with funding agencies DDD, DVRS, or CBVI preferred.
- ### Ability to attend specialized employment training and maintain professional development hours.
- ### Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- ### Expertise in MS Office applications, internet search, and data entry.
- ### Ability to work independently.
- ### Ability to work with clients in-person and remotely.
- ### Able to travel (valid driver`s license and reliable transportation required).
- ### Bilingual-Spanish preferred.
