Requirements

Our Health Economics Managers lead HEOR/RWE projects, maintain the highest standards, and ensure projects are on time and within budget. They research potential opportunities to improve healthcare through research and think strategically when partnering with pharma and biotech clients. They identify unmet needs, challenges, or new avenues of inquiry relevant to the client's portfolio and support business growth by proposing insights and recommendations stemming from data analysis/research findings.

Health Economics Managers also present results to global clients and communities. They manage multiple healthcare stakeholders on a project-by-project basis and develop and manage multinational observational studies.

An ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of health economic evaluation methods, real-world evidence generation, observational research and market access requirements across major healthcare systems

Experience (in some capacity) with the following is a plus:

- Burden of illness studies
- Non-interventional / observational studies
- Cost-effectiveness, cost utility and budget impact analysis
- RWE, HEOR & Market Access strategies
- Patient preference studies
- Elicitation exercises
- Literature reviews
- Research dissemination via posters & manuscripts

This role reports to a Senior Health Economist and works as part of a wider health economics team. The role does not include line management responsibility, but you will support and mentor junior colleagues and provide guidance to other health economists across the business.

Requirements:

- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a HEOR-focused or similar role
- Postgraduate qualification, such as an MSc, MPH, PhD or equivalent, in Health Economics, Public Health, Outcomes Research, Epidemiology, Statistics, Economics or another relevant quantitative discipline
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to interpret and synthesize complex clinical and economic evidence
- Experience managing projects from a timing and financial management perspective
- Client-facing confidence and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PPT, Access, Outlook, Teams
- Experience working with Stata, R or another similar statistical package
- Confidence using AI-powered tools to support research, analysis, content development and workflow efficiency
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
- High level of initiative, self-direction, and accountability
- Solutions-focused, sound judgement and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven agency environment
