About this role
About the Team
Integrated Marketing brings the value of DoorDash to Customers, Merchants, and Dashers by identifying audience needs, communicating the value of the products and services we build, and nurturing engagement through marketing campaigns and programs. Within Dasher Marketing, this role sits across two pods: Dasher Earnings Experience, which helps Dashers understand and trust how they get paid, and Dasher Habituation, which builds the habits and rituals that keep Dashers engaged and dashing consistently. The team is small-yet-mighty and growing quickly.
About the Role
As an Associate Marketing Manager, Dasher Engagement, you'll help bring to life the marketing strategy behind two of the most important levers in the Dasher lifecycle: how Dashers earn, and how often they come back. You'll partner closely with product, marketing, research, and creative teams to execute campaigns, in-app messaging, and communications that build Dasher trust in our earnings products and reinforce the habits that keep Dashers dashing.
You'll support GTM launches for new pay and earnings features as well as always-on engagement and habituation programs, translating strategy into flawless day-to-day execution and reporting on what's working.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will…
A detail-oriented executor with a bias for action, you thrive on turning strategy into a plan, and a plan into a shipped campaign, while keeping an eye on the data that tells you whether it worked.
Key responsibilities:
- Execute go-to-market plans for new and existing Earnings Experience and Habituation features, spanning in-app messaging, email, push notifications, and other Dasher-facing comms
- Support marketing experimentation (A/B tests) that build Dasher understanding of pay mechanics and reinforce dashing habits, then translate results into recommendations for what to test next
- Own day-to-day execution of campaigns: writing and QAing content, briefing creative, setting up in-app/CRM sends, and coordinating launch timelines across partner teams
- Partner with Product and Analytics to track adoption, engagement, and satisfaction metrics for earnings and habituation initiatives, flagging opportunities as they emerge
- Support customer research, in partnership with UXR and Audience Insights, to understand Dasher sentiment around pay transparency and engagement, and turn findings into actionable briefs
- Help prepare materials for weekly cross-functional business reviews with Product, Brand, CRM, and Operations, and track follow-ups to closure
- Maintain campaign trackers, briefs, and post-mortems so learnings compound across launches
We're excited about you because…
- 2-4 years of professional experience in marketing, growth, lifecycle, or a related operating role, ideally in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with data — able to pull and interpret basic metrics (Excel/SQL a plus) to gauge whether a campaign or test is working
- Strong project management instincts: you can take a plan, break it into steps, and drive it to done across multiple partner teams
- A clear, concise writer who can turn a strategy into Dasher-facing copy and briefs that creative and CRM teams can execute against
- A collaborative team player who's comfortable working across Product, Research, CRM, Brand, and Operations
- A builder's mentality — you're excited about technology products that impact millions of Dashers, and you want to grow your career in marketing at DoorDash
We expect this position to be filled by 11-24-26
