Dolan Security Guard

Dolan Auto Group, named Best Place to Work in Northern Nevada, is looking for a Security Guard to protect and enforce rules on a property, deter criminal activity and trespassers, and monitor security systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Deter criminal activity.

- Protect property and enforce rules on property.

- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.

- Patrol areas and do security checks.

- Ensure that all doors, windows, and exits are properly secured.

- Evicting trespassers and violators and detaining perpetrators while following legal protocols.

- Securing entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles.

- Testing security systems.

- Providing detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred to management.

- Check vehicles and individuals coming and going from the premises after hours.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

- Security background preferred.

- Willing to work night shifts.

- High School diploma or equivalent.

- Possess an acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license.

- Be at least 18 years of age.

- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.

- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.

- Strong communication skills.

- A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.

Physical Demands:

Physical demands include, but are not limited to:

- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

- Repetitive body movement such as squatting, twisting, kneeling, bending, stooping, fast paced walking and light jogging when necessary.

- Lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds without assistance at various times.

- Exposure to weather, where extreme temperature ranges may be encountered.
