Tactical Security Guard (Full-time)

Ready to suit up as a Tactical Security Guard in Sudbury

What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths.

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc.

Position type: Full-time

Location: Garson, ON

Schedule: Continental Rotational (two weeks days and two weeks nights)

- Week #1: Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays & Saturdays ;

- Week #2: Sundays, Wednesdays & Thursdays

Shift timings:

- Day rotation: 07:00 - 19:00

- Night rotation: 19:00 - 0700

This position requires Canadian citizenship or Permanent Residency due to contractual obligations with our client.

Responsibilities for Tactical Security Guard in Sudbury

- Patrol critical areas to spot any suspicious activity

- Check identification and control access to secure areas

- React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken

- Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras

- Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks

- Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents

Qualifications for Tactical Security Guard in Sudbury

- Be authorized to work in Canada

- Hold a valid security license

- First aid certification required

- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift

- Ability to get credentials like AVOP and RAIC

- A valid Ontario Driver's Licence - Class G2 or G with a clean driver's abstract

- Must be a Canadian Permanent Resident/Citizen due to Clearance requirements at the site
