Loan IQ Project Lead and Production Management, Vice President - VP

Job Overview

The Loan IQ Project Lead and Production Management Vice President is responsible for managing projects and strategic initiatives across the Loan IQ platform while supporting production stability and defect governance.

This role will partner with Product Management, Technology, Operations, Production Support, and Business stakeholders to coordinate project delivery, manage risks and dependencies, support implementation readiness, and drive production issues toward resolution. The ideal candidate is a versatile, execution-focused professional who can manage multiple priorities in a complex, global organization.

Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day execution of Loan IQ projects, workstreams, and platform initiatives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, issues, decisions, and action items.
- Coordinate activities across Product Management, Technology, Operations, Production Support, and Business teams.
- Facilitate project governance meetings and provide clear status reporting to working teams and senior stakeholders.
- Support requirements definition, testing, implementation planning, production readiness, and post-implementation activities.
- Identify delivery risks and blockers early, develop mitigation plans, and escalate concerns when appropriate.
- Serve as a central coordinator for production defects and operational issues affecting Loan IQ.
- Ensure production defects are promptly acknowledged, appropriately documented in Jira, and assigned to the correct team.
- Coordinate defect triage, ownership determination, stakeholder communication, and resolution tracking.
- Maintain oversight of production issues through resolution or formal backlog prioritization.
- Escalate priority issues, ownership gaps, risks, and blockers in a timely manner.
- Support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives focused on platform stability and operational efficiency.
- Drive accountability and effective execution across teams without direct management authority.
- Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for Citi’s reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients, and assets.

Qualifications

- 10-15 years of relevant experience in technology project management, program delivery, production management, application support, business analysis, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience managing technology projects or complex workstreams within a large, matrixed organization.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, milestone management, risk and issue management, dependency tracking, and stakeholder reporting.
- Experience coordinating requirements, testing, implementation, release readiness, and post-implementation support.
- Experience managing production incidents, application defects, triage, or operational support processes.
- Working knowledge of Agile and traditional project delivery methodologies.
- Experience using Jira or similar tools for project and defect tracking.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and influence stakeholders across teams.
- Financial services, commercial lending, syndicated lending, or wholesale lending experience preferred.
- Loan IQ platform knowledge and experience strongly preferred.

- PMP, Agile, Scrum, or related certification is a plus.

Education:

- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
