What You Will Do:
GFT is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our Construction Services Team in Wilmington, NC ! This role requires regular attendance at our Wilmington, NC office.

What youll be challenged to do: This is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced, motivated Construction Project Manager who thrives in a collaborative team environment. In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Conducts and documents project meetings with clients.
- Prepares and monitors project schedules.
- Performs periodic construction observation and inspection checks .
- Possesses basic surveying interpretation skills.
- Prepares reports and correspondence.
- Prepares and checks quantities for measurement and payment purposes.
- Prepares construction payment applications.
- Negotiates and prepares construction change orders.
- Reviews submittals and other technical data.
- Proficient with construction management software for document management and scheduling.
- Performs constructability reviews and value engineering studies.
- Assists with Risk Management assessments.
- Prepares and monitors Quality Control and Assurance Plans.
- Occasional Travel to and from project site s is expected .
Education | Experience:
What you will bring to our firm:
- BS in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
- Experience working with NCDOT is strongly preferred.
- 10 + years of experience.
- Proficiency in Procore or similar CM software preferred but not required
- 10-hour OSHA Safety course.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and SharePoint Environment
- Good oral and written communication skills .
- Must possess a drivers license to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
Compensation: The salary range for this role is $95,500 - $145,500. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location. Featured Benefits: Hybrid (in-person and remote) work environment.
