Job Description:

This position will support the work of the Office of Community Relations within the Division of Marketing and Communications. Duties include but are not limited to assisting with operations and promotion of the Baylor Waco Perks program; supporting content development and posting on community-focused social media channels; supporting cross-campus initiatives such as Waco Day and New Student Orientation; providing event, promotional and operational support for strategic initiatives such as TEDxBaylor University, Baylor concerts and entertainment, Waco Sports Commission Corporate Cup, and Wake Up! It's Family Weekend. This position will also support the development of various community-focused digital publications and newsletters. Other responsibilities include: traveling throughout Waco to capture photos, create content, deliver materials, etc.; providing excellent customer service to internal and external partners; assisting with mailings and the distribution of office materials; assisting with various projects, events, activities and tasks; prioritizing tasks, taking initiative and complying with University policies while maintaining regular and punctual attendance.

- Greet visitors with excellent customer service
- Provide general office, administrative, or clerical support
- May assist with handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, including phone calls, messages and mail
- May assist with routing and resolving questions or information requests
- May assist with document preparation, filing, office records
- Ensure confidentiality of all pertinent information
- May assist with office supplies and organization of common areas
- May assist with data entry tasks, spreadsheets and reports
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
- Ability to comply with University policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
