Our 5-year-old son loves art projects, Magna-Tiles, soccer, running, building forts, and being read to. He is excited to have a nanny!

A bit about you:
You are warm, loving, responsible, and highly self-directed, with the ability to see what needs to be done and take initiative. You also enjoy household organization and take pride in helping a busy home run more smoothly. You are patient and steady under pressure, able to keep up with two active children while maintaining firm, caring boundaries and making safety a top priority. You enjoy engaging children through play, reading, outdoor time, and creative activities rather than relying on screens. You communicate clearly, value transparency, and are comfortable adapting when a parent’s travel or family needs shift the schedule (within reason).

Job Duties:
This role will focus primarily on household support, including staying on top of the children’s laundry, daily dishes, home organization, meal planning, and preparing simple family dinners such as pasta, rice, and chicken. During available time (3-6p), you may also help with light shopping, pantry organization, sorting donations, occasional vacuuming, errands, and other light household tasks, as well as helping the family identify practical baby-proofing needs. Childcare will be needed for the last hour of the day (6-7p) and may include occasional school and daycare pickup, food safety, diaper changes and hygiene for the infant, engaging both children in creative and outdoor activities, and providing attentive supervision with a strong focus on road and home safety. When a parent is traveling, the schedule may shift later (additional hours) and will occasionally include bath and bedtime support. The family is looking for someone comfortable driving the children when needed and willing to provide thoughtful, engaged care while maintaining the family’s routines and boundaries.

Qualifications : 5-7 years of relevant childcare experience, able to demonstrate strong judgment and confidence with energetic young children, clean driving record, a reliable personal vehicle, and comfort transporting children when needed are required. Candidates must be CPR certified or willing to become certified before starting, be willing to complete a drug screen, and be comfortable signing an NDA. Strong communication, limited personal phone use while caring for the children, and comfort working when a child is mildly ill are also important.

Set yourself apart : Previous household assistant experience, strong organization skills, and willing to grocery shop for simple dinner ingredients would all be nice-to-haves. Flexibility to adjust hours when a parent travels, stay later on occasion, or provide occasional weekend support is a plus.

Schedule:   Monday – Thursday (3-7p)
                   Flexibility with end times/occasional later evenings when a parent is traveling.
                   Starts ASAP!

Pay: $33–$38 per hour
