Technical Project Management Analyst II – Complexity Optimization Implementation

As part of the Complexity Optimization team, the Technical Project Management Analyst II directly contributes to DTNA’s top strategic business goals by helping turn approved complexity reduction ideas into implemented measures and realized savings.
The role works across DTNA’s core functions, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, and Aftermarket, to drive approved optimization ideas to implementation. This includes developing implementation plans, coordinating activities, tracking progress, and helping resolve risks and roadblocks.

The position provides the PMO structure needed to maintain transparency and accountability across the implementation portfolio. It reports progress, status, and escalations to executive management and supports decision-making when different implementation options need to be considered. This may include balancing the level of part portfolio reduction against executable engineering workload, available resources, timing, cost, and implementation risk.

Position offers a starting salary range of $86,000.00 - $110,000.00 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience​

What You Drive at DTNA

- Drive approved complexity optimization ideas and measures to implementation across DTNA.
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Aftermarket, and other functions to develop implementation plans and execute approved measures.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities to maintain alignment, momentum, and accountability throughout implementation.
- Track progress, savings realization, risks
- Identify implementation barriers and work with stakeholders to develop and execute resolution plans.
- Provide regular status updates, progress reviews, and escalation reporting to executive leadership.
- Support decision-making by evaluating implementation options, tradeoffs, and alternative execution pathways.
- Facilitate implementation reviews and ensure actions, decisions, and commitments are completed.
- Monitor expected and realized business benefits and help ensure approved savings targets are achieved.
- Continuously improve implementation processes, reporting, governance, and portfolio visibility.

Knowledge You Should Bring

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Project Management, Analytics, or a related field., and 2-4 years of relevant experience, is required.
- Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional projects in an engineering, manufacturing, operations, or corporate environment.
- Strong sense of ownership with the ability to drive initiatives from concept through implementation and value realization.
- Ability to understand the priorities and constraints of multiple business functions and align stakeholders around a common objective.
- Strong project planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive initiatives to completion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to evaluate alternatives and communicate tradeoffs in a clear, fact-based manner.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, including experience communicating with executive leadership.
- Ability to influence and coordinate work across multiple organizations without direct authority.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

- Experience in PMO, program management, business transformation, or continuous improvement.
- Experience w/ DTNA’s implementation processes e.g. EWRs, FALs, Quality Gates
- Experience with DTNA’s tracking & implementation tools e.g. CoMet
- Experience working in operations, manufacturing, or production environments.
- Experience implementing cost reduction, complexity reduction, standardization, or operational improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with product engineering, manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, or engineering change management processes.
- Experience supporting executive reviews and preparing decision-support materials.
- Experience tracking business benefits, savings realization, and portfolio performance metrics.
- Experience with Power BI, Power Platform, or project portfolio management tools.
- PMP, CAPM, Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or similar certification.
- Experience in the automotive, commercial vehicle, or industrial manufacturing industry.
