Position Summary

Support the development, testing, validation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies to maximize product quality, reliability, and operational efficiency. This role works closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve production issues, improve testing methods, and support the implementation of new technologies and processes.

Responsibilities

- Resolve design and manufacturing issues to ensure successful product implementation, design acceptance, and manufacturing readiness.
- Plan, develop, and improve testing procedures and operations to increase test reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor test results, machine performance, process capability, and equipment reliability to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the adoption and implementation of new technologies, automation systems, robotics, computer-aided manufacturing software, and other process improvements.
- Analyze technical and manufacturing data to identify root causes, evaluate alternatives, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop, document, and maintain testing procedures, methods, and reports.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing, testing, equipment, and process-related issues and implement effective solutions.
- Participate in projects focused on process improvement, quality enhancement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing and product development objectives.
- Communicate technical findings, recommendations, and project updates through presentations, reports, and team discussions.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Materials Science, or a related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, testing, product development, or engineering-related activities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and participate in technical projects.

Preferred Skills & Competencies

Product Testing & Validation

- Experience developing, executing, and improving product testing procedures and methodologies.
- Ability to document test processes, analyze results, and track defects or performance issues.
- Knowledge of functional, safety, integration, and usability testing principles.
- Experience selecting or supporting testing environments, equipment, and tools.

Manufacturing & Technical Problem Solving

- Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing processes, equipment, software, and technical issues.
- Experience using structured problem-solving methodologies to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and troubleshooting best practices.

Analytical & Critical Thinking

- Ability to evaluate data, identify meaningful trends, and make informed recommendations.
- Experience utilizing root-cause analysis and continuous improvement tools such as flowcharts, Pareto charts, fishbone diagrams, or similar methodologies.
- Ability to compare alternatives and make sound technical recommendations based on data and business needs.

Project Management

- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and support engineering projects.
- Familiarity with project phases, deliverables, timelines, and critical path activities.
- Experience coordinating technical resources and tracking project progress.

Communication & Collaboration

- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience preparing reports, presentations, and technical documentation.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams.

Technical Excellence & Attention to Detail

- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Ability to analyze technical challenges using a structured and disciplined approach.

Salary range:

89,210.00 - 111,510.00

Summary Pay Range:

$89,210.00 - $133,810.00
