Job Description

Actalent is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Telecommunications Designer to join a growing design and engineering team supporting exciting technology infrastructure projects throughout the Seattle area. Responsibilities

- Create and modify telecommunications design drawings using Revit.
- Support the design of structured cabling, network infrastructure, and low-voltage systems for commercial and industrial projects.
- Collaborate with architectural, engineering, and construction teams to integrate technology systems into building designs.
- Assist with drafting and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Participate in project coordination meetings and design reviews.
- Learn industry standards and best practices related to telecommunications and low-voltage design.
- Support project schedules and deliverables while working alongside senior designers and project managers.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Architecture, Construction Management, Drafting, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Experience using Revit through coursework, academic projects, internships, or professional experience.
- Strong interest in telecommunications, technology infrastructure, or building systems design.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering or construction drawings.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Exposure to revit through coursework or projects.
- Internship, co-op, or project experience related to engineering, construction, drafting, or design.
- Interest in pursuing industry certifications such as BICSI or RCDD.
- Familiarity with electrical, low-voltage, or telecommunications systems.

Work Environment

This position is based in the Seattle, WA area and offers the opportunity to work alongside multidisciplinary design and engineering teams. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
