## Job Summary



To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Facilities engineer located on Flex North .

Reporting to the Facilities Manager the Facilities engineer Applies engineering values to design, modify or develop facilities, testing, machines, equipment, or processes used in processing or manufacturing products.

What a typical day looks like:

- Manage and maintain the facility infrastructure, ensuring the building and support systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Support the operation, maintenance and optimization of facility equipment and utilities.
- Monitor and improve the performance and reliability of building systems and electromechanical equipment.
- Lead facility improvement projects, equipment installations, infrastructure upgrades and capacity expansions.
- Evaluate technical requirements, equipment specifications and facility needs to support manufacturing operations.
- Coordinate preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities for facility systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Manage external contractors and service providers performing facility-related work.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental and facility regulations.
- Develop and maintain maintenance procedures, technical documentation and operating standards.
- Support energy efficiency, cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and daily direction to maintenance personnel and contractors involved in facility activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure facility systems meet operational requirements.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- Bachelor's Degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience leading and coordinating maintenance technicians, contractors and facility personnel, including task assignment, performance follow-up and daily operational support.
- Experience in Facilities Engineering, Building Infrastructure or Industrial Maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience with power distribution systems, transformers, switchgear, motor controls and electrical protection devices.
- Experience with HVAC systems, air compressors, chillers, cooling systems, pumps and industrial utilities.
- Knowledge of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance methodologies.
- Experience troubleshooting electromechanical systems and facility infrastructure.
- Experience managing facility-related projects and coordinating contractors.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Experience providing direction, coordination or leadership to maintenance teams, technicians or contractors.
- Intermediate English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
