Position Purpose:

Monitoring and entering data into DSV's central systems related to vendor and customer management, as well as implementing and managing organizational changes within DSV Group systems. In addition to operational responsibilities, the position is responsible for training team members and creating documentation for the Master Data team. Furthermore, the Senior Specialist is responsible for implementing process improvements and actively participating in ongoing projects, such as data conversion for countries migrating data from legacy systems to new systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

Position-Specific Responsibilities:

- Accurately and timely verify, enter, or approve data entered into DSV Group’s core systems worldwide.

- Accurately and timely monitor data entered by other DSV Group users worldwide.

- Actively participate in the implementation of new Master Data Management systems in Poland.

- Actively participate in testing new software tools (MDG, SAP).

- Collect, organize, and archive documents generated during daily operations in accordance with departmental guidelines.

- Actively participate in meetings and conference calls related to the MDM team in Poland and projects involving the migration of new countries to the Master Data Management system.

- Ensure effective cooperation with other MDM sub-teams.

- Support the smooth transfer of Master Data Management processes to ISSC.

- Provide assistance to team members regarding issues and system incidents related to Master Data Management systems.

- Participate in creating new procedures to improve Master Data Management processes in Poland.

- Maintain confidentiality of bank account information and immediately report any irregularities in account settings.

- Prepare reports and analyses based on management guidelines and in accordance with company policies.

- Conduct internal training sessions for new countries within the Master Data Management area.

- Develop tools and solutions to improve efficiency in daily operations using existing and newly created tools, in consultation with the Team Leader.

- Participation in the transfer of MDM processes to ISSC in Poland.

- Participation in implementation projects, training, and supporting I-SSC in new process improvement initiatives.

- Ensuring process control and quality through accurate and timely task completion.

- Ability to cooperate with different entities within the DSV Group (ISSC, local teams, Group Finance, etc.).

- Ability to maintain good relationships among financial teams, including ISSC, LSSC, and RSSC.

- Contribution to the development of the Master Data Management team as a proactive and results-oriented team.

- Ensuring process documentation remains updated and properly followed.

Qualification Requirements

Education:

- University degree or currently pursuing higher education.

Professional Experience:

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar position.

- Experience in transferring and documenting accounting processes within DSV ISSC (or with a previous employer).

Skills:

- English language proficiency at a minimum of B2 level.

- Knowledge of an additional language used in daily work at a minimum B2 level is an advantage.

- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including:

- Data sorting and filtering

- Conditional formatting

- Freezing rows and columns

- Cell formatting

- Creating pivot tables and charts

- VLOOKUP and data lookup functions

- Data validation, consolidation, and grouping

- Knowledge of the SAP ERP system.

- Strong analytical thinking skills.
