Lead Project Planner :

Objective:

The role is responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, with special emphasis on identification, monitoring, and control of the Critical Path and near-critical activities, tracking performance against baseline targets, identifying risks, constraints, and bottlenecks, and recommending corrective and recovery actions to achieve project milestones and overall project objectives within approved time and cost parameters.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project in accordance with the Contractual requirements and project execution strategies and approved methodology.

- Coordinate with project teams to collect, validate, and update progress data.

- Monitor progress against baseline schedules and highlight variances and schedule slippages.

- Track critical path activities, key milestones, and schedule dependencies.

- Prepare weekly, monthly, and look-ahead schedules and progress reports.

- Forecast project completion dates and identify schedule risks and mitigation measures.

- Perform delay analysis to determine the causes, impact, and entitlement related to project delays and recommend corrective actions.

- Develop recovery and acceleration plans to mitigate delays and achieve project milestones.

- Identify bottlenecks, resource constraints, interface issues, and material hold-ups affecting project progress.

- Prepare schedule dashboards, critical activity reports, management presentations, and provide schedule analysis, forecasts, and recommendations during project review meetings.

Skills and Experience:

- B.Tech in Civil, 15 to 20 Years of Experience in Heavy Civil Infrastructure Projects (Underground Metro, Elevated Metro, PSP, Hydro, Nuclear, Water and road projects)

- Skills: knowledge of Primavera -P6 scheduling /MS Project, Delay analysis as per the SCL, Advanced Excel & Reporting Tools, Power BI.
