Research Analyst, In-Vitro Metabolism (1-Year Fixed-Term Contract)

Labcorp is seeking a  Research Analyst  to join our In-Vitro Metabolism team in  Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

Work Schedule:  37h/week, Monday – Thursday 8.45am – 5pm, Friday 8.45am – 4.30pm.

Job Responsibilities:

- Developing competent basic laboratory skills.
- Setting up and performing appropriate assays based on the study protocol and in conjunction with the study team.
- Participating in study protocol reviews and meetings (i.e. pre-initiation meeting).
- Maintaining study documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Reviewing own work for overall accuracy, timeliness, completeness, and soundness of technical judgment.
- Delivering results within agreed timeframe.
- Maintaining a clean and safe laboratory work environment and performing routine maintenance.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Educated to BSc or equivalent in a relevant life science subject. Relevant experience may be substituted for academic qualifications.

Additional Job Standards:

- Ideally experience of working in an analytical lab environment and skilled in the use of all standard laboratory equipment.
- Experience of Metabolism study types such as ADME, PK, Protein binding, drug-drug interaction or relevant techniques is preferred but not essential
- Excellent motivation, I.T., communication and organizational skills.
- Scientific curiosity and problem-solving skills.
