Commercial Marketing Manager, EMEA (BENELUX)
Salary: €72,000 to €108,000 EUR
Location: Netherlands - Hybrid
About the Role
At Sonos, we're on a mission to create the ultimate listening experience, and that starts with listening to each other. As part of the Commercial Marketing team, you'll be the driving force behind how Sonos shows up in the Benelux market: at retail, online, and with the partners who bring our products to customers. You'll join a team of five regional Commercial Marketing Managers across EMEA, each running their own market, sharing what works, and pushing each other to raise the bar, and you'll report directly to the Senior Manager, Commercial Marketing EMEA. It's a fast paced role with a lot of moving parts at once, so strong project management instincts and a level head under pressure go a long way here.
This is a role built for someone who takes real pride in flawless execution and is ready to grow into a more strategic voice in the room. You'll be in weekly contact with our key retail accounts, building and adjusting joint business marketing plans and making sure Sonos gets the visibility it deserves in stores and online. You'll also work closely with sales, brand, creative, and product marketing, turning global commercial strategy into programs that build lasting loyalty with Benelux consumers. If you like being the person who makes things happen and is trusted to get it right, this is your seat at the table.
What You'll Do
- Maintain weekly contact with our key retail accounts to build and adjust joint business marketing plans, keeping Sonos as visible as possible in stores and online.
- Execute global commercial playbooks across BENELUX with precision, from product launches to seasonal promotions, ensuring retail readiness and merchandising quality at every touchpoint.
- Own the regional budget for your markets, allocating spend where it drives the most impact.
- Deploy global sales tools, narratives, and launch materials locally, keeping in-market sales teams prepared, aligned, and ahead of key moments.
- Coordinate sales events and partner activations directly with the revenue team.
- Act as the connector between sales, retail, distribution, and channel partners, keeping programs joined-up and genuinely relevant to the local market.
- Analyse market trends, competitive activity, consumer behaviour, and channel performance to flag opportunities and risks, and turn them into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Surface local insights, execution challenges, and partner feedback in a structured way that shapes how Sonos operates in-region.
- Support regional PR activations (earned only), coordinating timing and execution with the broader team.
- Build strong relationships with retail partners, sales, and cross-functional teams, and communicate commercial recommendations clearly enough to drive real alignment.
- Develop deep expertise in the Benelux market and channels, becoming the go-to resource your peers and cross-functional partners turn to.
What You'll Need
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, including hands-on trade or channel marketing experience.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast paced, constantly shifting environment.
- A proven track record of executing commercial marketing programmes that delivered measurable results.
- Experience working across multiple European markets, with a solid understanding of local consumer dynamics and retail landscapes.
- Demonstrated ability to connect data, operational processes, and partner input into cohesive, effective programmes.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of building relationships and driving alignment across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus, but not required.
- Experience in the consumer electronics or technology industry.
- Experience in a sales or key account management role.
- Hands-on knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) use cases for business and marketing.
