About this role
Responsibilities will include:
- Advising internal stakeholders on legal requirements applicable to financing services, and to related customer processes,
- Providing legal support on non-standard, complex or large financing transactions, including structuring, documentation and support in negotiations,
- Advising internal stakeholders on customer requests, and responding to complaints related to financing services,
- Monitoring legal and regulatory developments related to lending, leasing, trade finance and collateral arrangements, assessing their impact on the Bank and supporting their timely implementation,
- Cooperating with Business, Credit, Compliance, Legal, Product and other stakeholders to ensure practical, consistent and business-oriented legal advice in financing matters,
- Representing SEB with the external stakeholders, such as regulatory authorities and Lithuanian Banking Association.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
- A Master’s degree in Law,
- At least 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably gained in a financial institution, law firm, supervisory authority or another regulated environment,
- Ability to translate legal requirements into practical and business-oriented advice,
- Ability to work independently,
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills,
- Professional working proficiency in Lithuanian and English.
